Deuteronomio 18: Prácticas abominables.

Deuteronomio 18:9‭-‬14 RVA2015:
“Cuando hayas entrado en la tierra que el SEÑOR tu Dios te da, no aprenderás a hacer las abominaciones de aquellas naciones: No sea hallado en ti quien haga pasar por fuego a su hijo o a su hija ni quien sea mago ni exorcista ni adivino ni hechicero ni encantador, ni quien pregunte a los espíritus, ni espiritista, ni quien consulte a los muertos. Porque cualquiera que hace estas cosas es una abominación al SEÑOR. Y por estas abominaciones el SEÑOR tu Dios los echa de delante de ti. “Serás íntegro para con el SEÑOR tu Dios. Estas naciones que vas a desalojar escuchan a quienes conjuran a los espíritus y a los encantadores, pero a ti no te lo ha permitido el SEÑOR tu Dios.

En este capítulo miramos una de las advertencias que Dios le hizo a su pueblo acerca de prácticas abominables delante de la presencia de Dios, y es todo lo relacionado al espiritismo.
Estas prácticas que por siglos se han practicado están por todo el mundo, y en nuestra cultura latinoamericana no es la excepción.
Algunas personas saben que es peligroso meterse con estas prácticas, pero están desesperados por un problema y lo quieren arreglar así. Otras personas ven muy natural practicarlas y lo hacen con plena conciencia, sabiendo que son las fuerzas del mal pero que claramente han puesto su confianza en ellos.
La Biblia dice que satanás es el padre de toda mentira y ha engañado a muchas personas por medio de estas prácticas. Muchos piensan que se pueden comunicar con sus seres queridos que ya han fallecido pero ignoran que son demonios que se personifican y así engañan a las personas para que abran la puerta a satanás y le den el control de sus vidas al adversario de nuestras almas.
Esta es la causa por la cual muchas personas caen en un estado tan triste y bajo cuando son poseídas por espíritus malos. Todo empezó con estas prácticas espiritistas para atraer la buena suerte, actos que aparentemente son inocentes cuando acuden a personas que leen el tarot o practican las llamadas “limpias”, que son conjuros y rituales para atraer buena suerte en las finanzas o en el amor.
Es por eso que Dios estaba guardando al pueblo de Israel para que no cayeran en estas prácticas que van conectadas con el reino de las tinieblas.

La principal fuente de bendición proviene del Dios Altísimo, de nuestro Creador. La bendición de Dios no trae tristeza ni consecuencias negativas. Cuando uno entrega su vida al Señor, recibe la verdadera purificación de las almas y la sabiduría para poder prosperar en esta tierra.
En cambio, los que practican la brujería o la adivinación muchas veces terminan en la pobreza, o sus familias son atormentadas por espiritus malos, y caen sometidos a la esclavitud de su almas, haciendo las obras del enemigo. Además, las familias son afectadas porque uno de los miembros abrió la puerta para que satanás tome el control.

Recordemos que como creyentes tenemos un nombre que es sobre todo nombre y ese nombre de Jesucristo. Cuando aceptamos a Jesús como Salvador y hemos recibido su perdón, el Señor extiende su manto de protección sobre nosotros y, además, nos da la autoridad sobre todos los espíritus malos y demonios que quieran intentar hacernos daño. El Señor Jesucristo nos dio esta promesa que leemos en Lucas 10:19: “He aquí, les doy autoridad de pisar serpientes, escorpiones y sobre todo el poder del enemigo; y nada les dañará.”
¡Cualquier clase de conjuro, invocación o alguna otra obra de espiritismo es destruida en el nombre de Jesucristo porque Él venció a satanás cuando murió en la cruz del calvario y resucitó! ¡Satanás y sus ángeles caídos fueron expuestos y despojados por el Señor!
Si te mantienes fiel al Señor, viviendo una vida recta, y continuamente estás en comunicación con Dios en oración y sirviéndole con todo tu corazón, ten la seguridad que estarás protegido bajo las sombra en las alas del Omnipotente. Recuerda la declaración de Pablo en Romanos 8:37-39: “Más bien, en todas estas cosas somos más que vencedores por medio de aquel que nos amó. Por lo cual estoy convencido de que ni la muerte ni la vida ni ángeles ni principados ni lo presente ni lo porvenir ni poderes ni lo alto ni lo profundo ni ninguna otra cosa creada nos podrá separar del amor de Dios, que es en Cristo Jesús, Señor nuestro.”

¡Los demonios huyen ante un cristiano que está firme en la Roca de salvación y sabe invocar el nombre de Jesús con autoridad!

Deuteronomy 18: Abominable practices.

Deuteronomy 18:9-14:
“When you come into the land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out from before you. You shall be blameless before the Lord your God. For these nations which you will dispossess listened to soothsayers and diviners; but as for you, the Lord your God has not appointed such for you.

In this chapter we look at one of the warnings that God made to His people about abominable practices in the presence of God, and it is everything related to spiritism.
These practices that have been practiced for centuries are all over the world, and our Latin American culture is no exception.
Some people know that it is dangerous to mess with these practices, but they are desperate for a problem and want to fix it this way. Other people see it as very natural to practice them and do so with full awareness, knowing that they are the forces of evil but that they have clearly put their trust in them.
The Bible says that satan is the father of all lies and has deceived many people through these practices. Many think that they can communicate with their loved ones who have already passed away but ignore that they are demons that personify themselves and thus deceive people into opening the door to satan and giving control of their lives to the adversary of our souls.
This is the reason why many people fall into such a sad and low state when they are possessed by evil spirits. It all started with these spiritualist practices to attract good luck, acts that are apparently innocent when they go to people who read the tarot or practice the so-called "cleansing", which are spells and rituals to attract good luck in finances or in love.
That is why God was keeping the people of Israel so that they would not fall into these practices that are connected with the kingdom of darkness.

The main source of blessing comes from the Most High God, from our Creator. God's blessing does not bring sadness or negative consequences. When one surrenders his life to the Lord, he receives the true purification of souls and the wisdom to be able to prosper on this earth.
On the other hand, those who practice witchcraft or divination often end up in poverty, or their families are tormented by evil spirits, and they fall under the slavery of their souls, doing the works of the enemy. Also, families are affected because one of the members opened the door for satan to take control.

Let us remember that as believers we have a name that is above all names and that name is Jesus Christ. When we accept Jesus as Savior and have received His forgiveness, the Lord extends His mantle of protection over us and, in addition, He gives us authority over all evil spirits and demons that want to try to harm us. The Lord Jesus Christ gave us this promise that we read in Luke 10:19: “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
Any kind of conjuration, invocation or any other work of spiritualism is destroyed in the name of Jesus Christ because He defeated satan when he died on the cross of Calvary and rose! Satan and his fallen angels were exposed and dispossessed by the Lord!
If you remain faithful to the Lord, living a righteous life, and are continually in communication with God in prayer and serving Him with all your heart, rest assured that you will be protected under the shadow on the wings of the Almighty. Remember Paul's statement in Romans 8:37-39: “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Demons flee before a Christian who stands firm on the Rock of salvation and knows how to call on the name of Jesus with authority!
