God does someting new, in and for his people, regarding the Joyful return of the exiles, Jer. 31:13, 15. The return of Israel from the temple, where the people would be sown as a crop. Then we have the new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah.  Wright connects Romans 7:1-4 and 2:28-29 with Jer. 31:31-34 showing that even the Gentiles were able to receive the blessings of the Old Covenant through Christ.

Wright claims we already have the life in Christ and that we are already alive in Christ. The new location of people is to be the resurrection people. He looks at Ezk.36-37, as the gathering and the renewing of the heart of Israel.

Wright argues that the transformation of the Spirit belongs between the beginning and consummation of the doctrine of transformation. He argues the Spirit is temple theology, citing Phil. 1:5-6.
