Elijah is a playwright from Middlesbrough. His identity heavily influences his work and that’s why his writing tends to celebrate being queer and northern. He was the 2019 Young Writer residency at the Customs House where his play Isolation premiered which was later revived at Alphabetti. His last time working with Alphabetti was for Three Shorts and he is thrilled to be commissioned by this brilliant venue again.
