Michael has authored numerous books, the latest being Smile of the Universe: Miracles in an Age of Disbelief. Michael was for many years affiliated with the Division of Perceptual Studies at theUniversity of Virginia where he has contributed chapters for their books titled Irreducible Mind: Toward a Psychology for the 21 st Century and Beyond Physicalism: Toward Reconciliation ofScience and Spirituality.
