Amy and Ashley Jackson are on the Wake Up or Die podcast and Amy is giving an update on her recent women's circle experience. She shares her feelings about living in the wild west, with no manual or clear way to do things. Ashley talks about the feelings of anticipation that come with the unknown and how it can be a perpetual feeling of bliss if you want it to be. Amy shares that she is in and out of both feelings, sometimes feeling the best she ever has and other times feeling overwhelmed. They both acknowledge that change can be a rapid transformation, and they discuss how to find acceptance for the unknown and cultivate feelings of being unhinged and grounded.
Through this conversation, they aim to discover how to make the most of this uncertain, yet exciting time in life. This conversation is about how people are feeling isolated and alone in the current environment the world is in.
Ashley talks about how people want to take away your right to express yourself, heal and be well. They discuss how the powers that be have become very divisive in the way they have separated people into certain categories and how it has made it hard to communicate with people. They relate this to the recent TikTok ban and how it is a direct reflection of people wanting to take away your right to express yourself, heal and be well. Amy agrees that this is a real problem and people need to hear that it is normal to feel alone and isolated. They conclude that if people are not going for the same things you are, they will try to take away your right to express yourself, heal and be well. The conversation between Amy and Ashley is about the importance of creating safe and supportive spaces for people to be seen and heard.
They discuss how the external world is trying to take away people's sovereignty and make them feel powerless. In order to counteract this, they recommend grounding oneself and being present in the moment. They then tell the story of a bird found in the rainforest who was taken to a cage, but was still content and happy in his new environment. This is meant to illustrate that while change can be difficult, it can also be enjoyable if we accept it and find the beauty in it. The conversation emphasizes the importance of creating safe spaces for ourselves and others and accepting the uncertainty of life. A man told a story to a bird in a cage about his friend or uncle who was doing great and liked the cage, but the bird started to cry and then suddenly fell over dead. The man was shocked and took the bird out of the cage to the garden to bury him, but then it suddenly came alive! The bird told him that his brother had given him an important lesson - that sometimes you have to die in the cage to be free. The man was so moved by the story that he told it to someone close to him, and said that they could experience conscious death if they said certain phrases. The man's story and the bird's lesson had a profound impact, teaching the man and his friend that sometimes we need to take risks and let go of what we know and believe in order to be truly free.

"Those are the ones that you should keep cultivating your relationship with. That's what I've realized is the one that you're like, I know, if I talk to this person, I'm going to feel better than I already do, which if I'm not feeling good, you know, it's sometimes it's easy to hide when we're not feeling good" Amy
