Hey there beachgoers! It's time to catch some waves and soak up some sun with your New York surf zone forecast!

For all you Brooklyn surfers hitting up Coney Island Beach and Manhattan Beach today, we've got a high rip current risk, surf heights of 3 to 4 feet, and a chance of thunderstorms lurking. So, keep an eye out! The UV index is very high, so don't forget that sunscreen as you enjoy the mid 70s surf temperatures.

Tomorrow, the rip current risk remains high, with more sunny skies and a slight chance of showers. Temperatures will be in the mid-80s with breezy West winds.

Moving over to Southern Queens at Jacob Riis Park and Rockaway Beach, the conditions echo Brooklyn's with high rip current risks, thunderstorm potential, and a mix of sun and showers. Surf temperatures in the lower 70s today with the mercury hitting the mid-80s.

And for those chilling at Atlantic Beach, Long Beach, Lido Beach, and Jones Beach, get ready for similar high rip current risks and potential thunderstorms. Surf temperatures around 70 and lower 80s temperatures await you today.

Down in Southwestern Suffolk, including Gilgo State Park and Robert Moses State Park, expect another day of high rip current risks, partly sunny conditions, and lower 80s temperatures with South winds. Tomorrow, the risks persist with a chance of showers and West winds.

Lastly, for all the surfers at Smith Point, Cupsogue Beach, and Ditch Plains in Southeastern Suffolk, high rip current risks are in store along with possible thunderstorms. Look forward to lower 80s temperatures and a mix of sun and clouds.

Remember, safety first out there! Always check with lifeguards, never swim alone, and have a flotation device handy, especially with those high rip current risks today.

So, grab your board, catch some waves, and enjoy the beach vibes, fellow surfers! And always stay safe out there. This has been a Quiet Please Studios audio creation with the help of AI. Please subscribe and never miss a Swell! Thank you for listening.
