Customers of College Station Utilities (CSU) should notice shorter waiting times when they call with questions.
That's part of a city update, five weeks after taking down the online payment option following a potential data security issue with the city's former third party provider.
Assistant city manager Jeff Kersten says more CSU employees are taking calls.
More lines have also been added to CSU's automated payment service at 979-764-E-PAY.
Negotiations continue to hire another private company to provide an online payment option for CSU's 48,000 accounts.
