Tommy DeLong was born and raised in the Houston area, and after spending nearly a decade in San Antonio at the College Promoters USA corporate office, he has recently relocated back to Houston to oversee the area full time. After going through the recruiting process in high school and earning a few opportunities to play at the college level, Tommy decided to forgo playing in college and pursue his education at a Division 1 university. He earned a Bachelor's in Kinesiology & Sports Management from Texas A&M Corpus-Christi while being named to the National Dean's List multiple times. He is a big supporter of the Islanders athletic program to this day!

In addition, Tommy is also a big sports enthusiast and a "former" athlete in his younger days. He primarily played football and basketball at the high school level. His decision to not pursue a college athletic career combined with his true love for college recruiting is what led Tommy to College Promoters nearly 10 years ago.
He is extremely passionate about ensuring that high school student-athletes earn the scholarship offers they deserve and his knowledge throughout the entire recruiting process and decade-long involvement with the CPUSA has been invaluable. Tommy has successfully helped hundreds of College Promoters athletes through his personal support, guidance and tutelage over the years. We are extremely excited to have him spearheading the Houston area, one of the strongest regions of high school athletic talent in the entire nation. Mr. DeLong will operate as the Area Director for our Houston Area as well as the College Promoters USA Director of Football.
