show moreToday, we are looking at a low rip current risk, with the surf around 1 foot but increasing to about 2 feet in the afternoon. Keep an eye out for scattered showers and some thunderstorm potential. The UV index is very high, so don't forget your sunscreen! The water temperature is 51 degrees, so stay warm out there. High temperatures will be in the mid-70s with southwest winds at around 10 miles per hour. Tides are showing a high at 9.7 feet in the morning and a low at 1.7 feet in the afternoon at Sand Beach.
Heading into Friday, the rip current risk remains low with surf around 2 feet, dropping to 1 foot later. No thunderstorm risk tomorrow, just some partly sunny weather with highs in the upper 60s. Expect northeast winds at 10 miles per hour, shifting to southeast later in the day. Tides at Sand Beach will see a high of 9.9 feet in the morning and a low of 1.6 feet in the afternoon.
Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday brings around 1-foot surf, mostly cloudy skies, and a chance of showers with highs in the lower 60s. Sunday sees the surf picking up to 2-3 feet with cloudy conditions and rain likely, plus a slight chance of thunderstorms. Highs will be in the lower 60s.
Monday is looking a bit more exciting with 3-4 feet of surf, cloudy skies, and rain continuing with highs in the mid-60s and southwest winds at around 15 miles per hour.
