James "JY" Young of Styx, who doubles as our NFL Playoff analyst, called in Wednesday to give us his picks for this weekend's Division round. First up are Saturday's games. We'll have his Sunday picks tomorrow (Friday).
In Saturday's first game in the AFC, the Kansas City Chiefs are in Foxboro, Massachusetts to take on the New England Patriots. While JY says he likes the way the Chiefs are playing, it's "hard to pick against [the defending Super Bowl Champion] Patriots... I want to pick the Chiefs, but I guess I got to go Patriots by a field goal (three points)."
And in the late game over in the NFC, the Green Bay Packers head to the desert to take on the Arizona Cardinals. JY thinks the Packers up-and-down year will come back to haunt them, so he is going with the Cardinals by a touchdown (six points).
