Lv: Vasaras saule spoži spīdēja pār Rīgas ielām.
En: The summer sun was shining brightly over the streets of Riga.

Lv: Cilvēki steidzās uz darbu un tūristi lēnām pastaigājās, izbaudot pilsētas skaistumu.
En: People were hurrying to work, while tourists strolled leisurely, enjoying the beauty of the city.

Lv: Raimonds stāvēja tramvaja pieturā, viņa seja izstaroja nogurumu.
En: Raimonds stood at the tram stop, his face showing signs of fatigue.

Lv: Blakus viņam stāvēja Laima – viņa bija starojoša, ar zīmēšanas blociņu rokā.
