CHILDREN AREN'T INSPIRED TO TAKE CARREERS IN STEM
There is a disconnect happening in education where children are not understanding the breadth of careers in STEM, with the nation failing to effectively answer the question "When will I ever use this again." STEM is a curriculum based on the idea of education students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics by integrating them into a learning experience based on real-world applications. According to the US Department of Education, only 16 percent of high school students are interested in a STEM career.
