In 1966 the United States Air Force funded a group of scientists working at the University of Colorado to perform an in-depth review of Project Blue Book. In addition to examining the UFO files provided by the U.S. military and civilian UFO groups, the scientists also investigated reports that took place during their 2 year review. One of the cases that caught their attention was the report of a 22-year old police sergeant who, after his encounter with a UFO along highway 63 near Ashland, Nebraska, experienced numerous symptoms often associated with alien abductions. The young police sergeant was invited to Boulder, Colorado where, under hypnotic regression therapy, memories of that fateful night were uncovered that had seemingly been repressed.
