Es: En un soleado día de verano, Alejandro, Sofía y Carlos se encontraban emocionados en el pequeño pueblo español de San Miguel.
En: On a sunny summer day, Alejandro, Sofía and Carlos were excited in the small Spanish town of San Miguel.

Es: Habían oído hablar de un carnaval animado que se celebraba allí y decidieron ir a disfrutar de la diversión juntos.
En: They had heard of a lively carnival held there and decided to go enjoy the fun together.

Es: Mientras caminaban por las coloridas calles adornadas con banderines y serpentinas, Alejandro no podía resistir la tentación de jugar una broma a sus amigos.
