If I were to pick one of my personal favorite stories of his it would probably be the one about the time when he jammed with John Lennon - which he talks about in this episode!
At the age of almost 90, he is constantly on the go, traveling the world, writing new music, performing and generally brimming with energy and excitement.
He graduated from The Julliard School, NYC (Master Of Music with Honors) in the 60's and has received a lot of awards and honors since then.
Lately, he was inducted into the American Academy Of Arts and Letters, which is an American honor society of the country's (America's) 300 leading architects, artists, composers and writers. Each year, it elects new members - if an old member has died, that is, as there can only be a total of 300 across all of the United States!
In his "class" you can also find film director, Francis Ford Coppola and actress, Frances McDormand - people like that...
Andreas asks Carman how he has managed to keep inspiration strong through-out a long career?
Chris plays his Telecastor guitar through Kim Larsen's old Chorus Echo machine while Andreas strums on his acoustic Martin guitar.
