The person who Rosa Calleri and I have just interviewed for Radio VIBE is not a normal person – Luca Poeti is a force of nature. 🌟
And this has been the only time so far when, at the end of our interview, after interrupting the recording, the three of us were in tears. 😥😥😥
Listen to our latest podcast and you’ll meet:
👉🏼 A gentleman from Monza – who doesn’t like car racing 🚗
👉🏼 An Italian who came here “just for a year or two” to ensure a better future for his family, and is still here after NINE years… 🏠
👉🏼 A professional nurse 💉 who gets systematically praised by his patients because his job is rooted in his soul
👉🏼 A caring professional who still finds it hard seeing one of his elderly residents passing away because he loves them all ♥
👉🏼 A person who suffers from FND (Functional Neurological Disorder) – he’s on the FND rollercoaster, but still manages to enjoy the ride 🎠
👉🏼 A wheelchair user who rides his wheelchair as he would ride a horse that gives him freedom, because that wheelchair has become his best friend 🦽
👉🏼 The living proof that “disability is normality and normality is disability” 💪🏽
He says he’s got his down moments as he’s a human being, but we don’t believe him.
You know why? Because he is our inspiration and our warrior and our fighter – that’s our very brave Luca Poeti. 👏🏼
Very special thanks to our Viber Luigi Cirillo for arranging a song that is very close to Luca’s heart – Hall of Fame by the Script. 🎸 You can listen to it in the middle of our podcast, and we can assure you that you’ve never heard Luigi singing like that! 🎤
As this song and Luca and Luigi remind us, “You can throw your hands up, you can beat the clock / You can move a mountain, you can break rocks”. 🎶
So, if you’re in need of some positivity and inspiration, go ahead and listen to us.
