On Todays episode we have Amina Woods, a licensed Doula, who talks to Tahoe about what doulas do to support the mother and the family, how a Doula can help the family form a birthing plan, and how that can positively effect the relationship between the expecting parents. Amina also sheds light on unnecessary practices Hospitals tend to suggest to expecting mothers, how the Doula can help give insight to these situations and how Doulas can help families work through the post partum period. Enjoy!
