OP is in her last year of college and ready to hand in her final project for graduation. Unfortunately, her boyfriend's grandmother (who is very special to him) passed away and the services are across the country on the date she needs to hand in her project. So she decides to skip the funeral to focus on work because if she misses the deadline, she can't graduate for another year and now her boyfriend won't forgive her.
