Standing on the path, in front of him, was a creature he'd never seen before. Making matters more intense was the fact that soon, he'd be face to face with it, just 3 feet away! For years, people who lived in the area where Doug did back then, near Washington D.C., talked about a creature they called the Mount Vernon Monster. Is that what Doug encountered that night?
