In this episode of Becoming with Angelina Watkins, reviews the Biden Administration proposal to raise the cost of mortgage fees for homebuyers with good credit.

As of May 1st, the Biden Administration has enacted a law that impacts the Loan-Level Price Adjustment. This new rule raises the cost of mortgage fees for homebuyers who have good credit and put down a sizeable down payment. Homebuyers with less than stellar credit and a small down payment will see their mortgage fees go down.

This change comes as an effort to make homes more affordable, but there is two things wrong with this solution.
1) Homebuyers with a good credit score is being punished with those with a low credit score is being rewarded, and
2) Homes are still unaffordable because of the already high interest rates
