Michelle Roberts is a fighter and a winner! I finally came to the conclusion after 17 years of marriage to a drug addicted husband that he would not change. My father was not a part of my life growing up and I longed for that relationship, so I stayed too LONG! I was so depressed and carrying 268lbs on 5 foot frame! I thought. “Who would want a fat girl with 3 babies”? I finally took charge of my life through much prayer and soul searching. I had life Gastric-By Pass Surgery, divorced my drug addicted husband, went back to school and completed a BSM and MA from Shorter college and , now I am 2 classes away from starting my Dissertation for my Doctorate. Yes it was hard! Yes I cried! Yes I complained sometimes, but I looked at my children and a fight for dear life rose up in me!
