Federated Farmers are calling on Fonterra to abandon all ties with Russia as heightened international tensions continue. 
The dairy giant has suspended all shipments to Russia but continues to hold staff in Moscow and St Petersburg. 
Fed Farmers national president Andrew Hoggard believes any money tied up is likely a lost cause and it's time to get out.
