Alvin is a jazz bassist, composer-songwriter, a recording artist, 3 principles coach and soon to be author. Alvin grew up in the ugliness of Alabama's Jim Crow segregation and apartheid and lived in the heart and center of the 1960's Civil Rights movement. Inspired and informed by these life experiences, in addition to a master's degree in Spiritual Psychology, Alvin is passionately drawn towards having enlightening and honest conversations around social and economic injustices, unconscious bias, white privilege, and racism, and how these often shape and inform many white spiritual communities.
