AEW Full Gear Epitomizes An All-Star Card With an A- List Roster

Buy-In: Nyla Rose & Jamie Hayter vs. Hikaru Shida & Thunder Rosa: Nice tie in with Serena Deeb at ringside. Very good match and the crowd was very much into it.

MJF vs. Darby Allin- Lot of heat on MJF. Symbolism in the car crash chronicled in the buildup to the feud. MJF going for classic lavender trunks fit for a heel. MJF's workrate in ring is underrated. He changes it up for every opponent. Slow pace for an opening match and the crowd is loving it. Psychological match and very good storytelling. Rare to see this type of match today. Playing up the knee injury self inflicted. Sting prevents Wardlow and Spears. Not many high spots. No overkill of near falls. Switcheroo with the skateboard to the dynamite diamond ring for the pin.

AEW World Tag Team Championship: Lucha Bros (Rey Fenix & Penta El Zero Miedo) (c) vs. FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood)-These teams work great together. FTR is a great example of AEW taking advantage of WWE's neglect. I'd hate to be in the matches that have to follow the first two. Mask confusion doesn't work on the Lucha Bros.

World Title Eliminator Finals: Bryan Danielson vs. Miro: Talk about leaving it all in the ring. You would have never gotten a match like this in WWE. Danielson win and Miro continues to look quite strong in defeat.

Falls Count Anywhere: Superkliq (Adam Cole & The Young Bucks) vs. Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus & Christian Cage: So much going on here. Crazy match. Faces win. This show has moved so fast, with little time to breathe.

Cody Rhodes & PAC vs. Andrade El Idolo & Malakai Black: I could care less if Cody turns heel. PAC animosity with Cody is a focus. Andrade and Black make a really good tag team. Another set of great storytelling. WWE had some great wrestling talent and AEW has shown how to present these guys as stars and give them to showcase how great they can be.

AEW Women's Championship: Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. (c) vs. Tay Conti: Baker dominates. Took a while for this match to get moving. Tay escaped the lockjaw. She got distracted and got rid of the distraction.

CM Punk vs. Eddie Kingston: KO punch to flatten Punk. Kingston looks like a psycho in this match. Punk gets color and evens things up.

Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Sammy Guevara, Santana & Ortiz) vs. Men of the Year (Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky) & American Top Team (Junior dos Santos, Andrei Arlovski, & Dan Lambert): Baron von Raschke cameo. Prince symbol used in the match. Lots of plunder. Surfboard and Boston Crab combo to Ment of the Year by Santana and Ortiz.

Jay Lethal is All Elite. Challenges for TNT title.

AEW World Championship: Kenny Omega (c) vs. Hangman Page. Great entrance for Page. Back and forth. Classic match with these two. Lot of fight in Page. Young Bucks came down and did not interfere.
