Story Transcript:

Cy: Roedd hi'n ddiwrnod braf a heulog ym Mae Caernarfon.
En: It was a beautiful and sunny day in Caernarfon.

Cy: Roedd adar yn canu, a'r awyr mor las fel llygad glas Gwyneth.
En: Birds were singing, and the sky was as blue as Gwyneth's blue eyes.

Cy: Roedd hi'n teimlo fel anturiaethwr, yn barod am ei diwrnod gyda'i ffrindiau Rhys a Megan.
En: She felt like an adventurer, ready for her day with her friends Rhys and Megan.

Cy: Cerddodd Gwyneth, Rhys, a Megan tuag at Gastell Caernarfon, un o gestyll hynafol a harddaf Cymru.
En: Gwyneth, Rhys, and Megan walked towards Caernarfon Castle, one of the oldest and most beautiful castles in Wales.

Cy: Roedd sŵn eu hesgidiau yn atseinio ar y cobbles wrth iddynt agosáu.
En: The sound of their footsteps echoed on the cobbles as they approached.

Cy: Roedd Megan wedi trefnu trip arbennig i'w ffrindiau heddiw, a Gwyneth oedd y mwyaf cyffrous ohonynt i gyd.
En: Megan had arranged a special trip for her friends today, and Gwyneth was the most excited of them all.

Cy: Wrth iddynt gyrraedd, rhoddodd Rhys gynnig ar jôc.
En: As they arrived, Rhys made a joking suggestion.

Cy: "Beth am ras i ben y grisiau?
En: "How about a race to the top of the stairs?"

Cy: " gofynnodd, gan edrych ar y grisiau troellog cul.
En: he asked, looking at the narrow spiral stairs.

Cy: Chwarddodd Megan, gan wybod bod Rhys bob tro'n hoffi cystadlu.
En: Megan chuckled, knowing that Rhys always liked to compete.

Cy: Gwyneth, a oedd wastad yn barod am hwyl, derbyniodd yr her.
En: Gwyneth, who was always ready for fun, accepted the challenge.

Cy: Dechreuodd y tri ffrindes ddringo'r grisiau troellog, Gwyneth ar y blaen, Rhys a Megan yn dilyn yn agos ar ei hôl.
En: The three friends began to climb the narrow stairs, with Gwyneth in the lead, Rhys and Megan close behind.

Cy: Roedd y grisiau mor gul fel doedd dim lle i'w croesi.
En: The stairs were so narrow that there was no room to pass.

Cy: Ar y funud olaf, suddodd Gwyneth ychydig yn rhy bell i mewn i'r grisiau a chafodd ei hun mewn sefyllfa digon anffodus.
En: In the last moment, Gwyneth slipped a little too far into the stairs and found herself in an unfortunate position.

Cy: "Rhys!
En: "Rhys!

Cy: Megan!
En: Megan!

Cy: Dewch i'm helpu!
En: Come help me!"

Cy: " galwodd Gwyneth.
En: called Gwyneth.

Cy: Roedd ei llais yn atseinio'r holl ffordd i lawr y grisiau.
En: Her voice echoed all the way down the stairs.

Cy: Rhys a Megan, yn methu peidio â chwerthin wrth glywed panig Gwyneth, wnaeth gyrraedd lle roedd hi'n sownd.
En: Rhys and Megan, unable to stop themselves from laughing at Gwyneth's panic, rushed to where she was stuck.

Cy: "Ti'n edrych fel tocen mewn peiriant gemau!
En: "You look like a token in a game machine!"

Cy: " sibrydiodd Rhys wrth iddo ddal ei stumog mewn chwerthin.
En: Rhys exclaimed, holding in his stomach from laughing.

Cy: Er gwaethaf hynny, dechreuodd Rhys a Megan tynnu ar goesau Gwyneth yn ofalus, ond yn galed.
En: Despite this, Rhys and Megan began to carefully and firmly tug on Gwyneth's legs.

Cy: Roedd yn debyg i gêm o 'dynnu rhyfel' yn y canol oedd Gwyneth ei hun yn dafell sy'n cael ei gwthio ac yn cael ei thanio.
En: It was like a game of 'tug of war' in which Gwyneth was the token being pushed and pulled.

Cy: Gydag ychydig mwy o ymdrech a llawer o chwerthin, cafwyd Gwyneth yn rhydd o'r grisiau troellog.
En: With a little more effort and a lot of laughter, Gwyneth was freed from the narrow stairs.

Cy: Roedd wyneb Gwyneth yn goch o ymdrech a chywilydd, ond draig o dân ei chwerthin oedd yn barod i chwerthin at yr holl sefyllfa.
En: Gwyneth's face was red with effort and embarrassment, but a fire of laughter was ready to burst out in response to the whole situation.

Cy: Roedd Rhys yn marw chwerthin, a dhysgwr Megan yn ei dal yn ei breichiau wrth i Gwyneth lithro i gadernid ar y llawr.
En: Rhys was dying of laughter, and Megan, the wise learner, caught her in her arms as Gwyneth slipped to the floor.

Cy: Ar ôl i'r chwerthin lleddfu, cafodd y tri ohonynt baned o de yn y caffi castell, yn trafod anturiaethau'r dydd.
En: After the laughter subsided, the three of them got a cup of tea at the castle café, discussing the day's adventures.

Cy: Buont yn cytuno na fyddent byth yn anghofio'r diwrnod hwnnw yng Nghastell Caernarfon.
En: They agreed that they would never forget that day at Caernarfon Castle.

Cy: Roedd Gwyneth, Rhys, a Megan wedi dysgu gwers bwysig: bob amser gwirio maint y grisiau cyn cymryd rhan mewn rasio!
En: Gwyneth, Rhys, and Megan had learned an important lesson: always check the width of the stairs before participating in a race!

Cy: Er bod y diwrnod wedi dechrau fel antur, trodd allan i fod yn stori ddoniol a fyddai'n cael ei hadrodd dro ar ôl tro.
En: Though the day started as an adventure, it turned out to be a funny story that would be told over and over.

Cy: Roedd Gwyneth yn falch o'r ffaith, er iddi fynd yn sownd, bod ganddi ffrindiau fel Rhys a Megan i'w helpu - ac i'w gwneud yn chwerthin pan oedd hi ei hangen fwyaf.
En: Gwyneth was glad that, despite going through a moment of panic, she had friends like Rhys and Megan to help her - and to make her laugh when she needed it most.
