A professional ski athlete and BASE jumper, Matthias graduated with a Business Administration degree and later realised his dream by becoming a pioneer of ski BASE jumping. He has accomplished many first descents and ski BASE jumps across the globe, including the first ski BASE jump off the Matterhorn in Switzerland. He is also widely known for his ski BASE jump avalanche escape off of the Aiguille Croche in the French Alps.
‘Super Frenchie’ has set new standards for ski BASE jumping and air sports despite sustaining life threatening injuries and the tragic loss of close friends.
Through unique stories, he will share how BASE jumping has taught him how to live and accept his mortality while maintaining a zest for life.
