Season 1, Episode 7: The Living Full Out Show with Nancy Solari strives to challenge and motivate listeners. Being legally blind, Nancy has faced many road blocks but that didn’t stop her from reaching her own goals of creating her own business, radio and talk shows. In this episode, listen to how the callers and motivational guests are conflicted with reaching their own goals and how they were able to persevere forward.
The first caller, Madeline, is tempted to be distracted from tasks that are important to her and is striving to become more focused. Hear how Madeline is guided to trust herself and the meanings behind her actions.
Andrew was the second caller and is having anxiety about maintaining his grades to make his family proud of him. Find out how Nancy advises him to appreciate the gift of education his family handed to him and do great things with school.
Today’s inspirational guest is Jessica Cox, the world’s first licensed armless pilot. She was born without arms yet overcame her disability to go on to drive, fly, and complete daily tasks with her feet in lieu of her hands. She is the subject of the documentary, Right Footed. Jessica Cox describes flying as the ”ultimate form of independence, empowerment, and freedom.” Tune in to hear more about how she pushed beyond her limitations.
Our last caller Heather is a recent college graduate who is in transition as she negotiates a balance between career and academic goals. She seeks Nancy’s advice for learning how to prioritize her next steps so that she is able to achieve her desired results.
Whenever you have a goal, don’t look at it as though it’s a finale. Goals can evolve and change. Give yourself the freedom to fail and start with the goals that bring you the most joy!
