Lt: Rūta stovėjo prie lango savo buto Vilniaus senamiestyje.
En: Rūta stood by the window of her apartment in Vilnius' Old Town.

Lt: Rudens lapai žėrėjo auksinėmis ir bronzinėmis spalvomis.
En: The autumn leaves shimmered in gold and bronze hues.

Lt: Ji giliai įkvėpė ir pažvelgė į Saulių, savo vyresnį brolį, sėdintį ant sofos.
En: She took a deep breath and looked at Saulius, her older brother, sitting on the couch.

Lt: „Sauliau, tai svarbu. Noriu, kad šeima suprastų, kodėl aš noriu išvykti,“ - sakė Rūta.
En: "Saulius, this is important. I want the family to understand why I want to leave," Rūta said.

Lt: Saulius linktelėjo. „Tu žinai, kad aš visada už tave.“

Lt: „Žinau, bet mama ir tėtis… Jie nori, kad likčiau čia,“ - riedėjo jos balsas.

Lt: Vakare Rūtos šeima susirinko restorane sename Vilniaus mieste.
En: In the evening, Rūta's family gathered at a restaurant in the old city of Vilnius.

Lt: Pastatas buvo senovinis ir jaukus, su krosnimis, kurios skleisdavo šilumą, o stalai buvo nukrauti garuojančiais patiekalais.
En: The building was ancient and cozy, with stoves radiating warmth, and the tables laden with steaming dishes.

Lt: Restoranas buvo pilnas triukšmingų pokalbių ir juoko.

Lt: „Aš jus labai myliu, bet šis projektas reiškia daug man.
En: "I love you very much, but this project means a lot to me.

Lt: Tai mano gyvenimo šansas,“ Rūta įkalbėjo, matydama tėvų veiduose susirūpinimą.
