In addition to writing, Jennifer has taught philosophy. She earned her B.A. from Columbia University and her Ph.D. from Stanford University. She lives in Western Massachusetts with her family.
The hearing parent of two deaf children, Jennifer shares about how her experiences raising children with hearing loss in a hearing world have had a significant influence on her work and themes throughout her writing.
