One thing to keep in mind is that at least some of the people who are taking semaglutide have tried many diet modifications as well as exercising regularly and still can't get the weight off. Metabolism is extremely complex and we truly don't understand it very well yet. I am cautious about medication but I can understand why some would try it. You mention muscle loss but all diets lead to muscle (as well as fat) loss - or is there a study where this happens more with semaglutide? I have found it interesting that semaglutide may be cardioprotective.
