The workshop movie and David's commentary are a metaphysical exploration of the heart's desire to disidentify from the body and personality self. Most people are unaware of this, but it is essential to experience experiences that show you are more than you think.
The movie teaches about consciousness, which is the receptive mechanism of the mind that receives messages from the right mind and the Holy Spirit and can inspire action. Consciousness is not all-expansive and all-powerful but the domain of the ego. Decisions are made deeper in consciousness than our awareness. The movie symbolizes the spiritual journey as things fall away from our experiences and self-concept.
