In marriage, there are many days where we hit a dead end, like the 'I should do it.' But unfortunately, our minds and actions don't always equate to accomplishing what is needed; when later becomes never. Think about all those honey to-dos that never seem to get done. But in reality, those to-dos just keep getting longer, and the list can become a wedge in the cracks that were created because of another incident. Being married means there are always instances or incidents. However, you don't have to live in the pretenses of not doing or holding out for the excuses. Instead, you can double down. The K.I.S.S. ~ Double D.O.W.N.! It's easy to let things slide, especially in the realm of marriage. Procrastination can quickly become the norm, and before you know it, what was meant to turn into a "later" task has transformed into a permanent "never." Let's break this cycle with a strategic approach, where later becomes now, and never becomes a thing of the past. Hence, you get to double D.O.W.N.! D - Delegate "Two heads are better than one." - Unknown Delegate tasks between spouses to avoid the overwhelming feeling of having to do everything alone. From household chores to planning date nights, sharing responsibilities fosters teamwork and strengthens your bond. O - Organize "By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail." - Benjamin Franklin Create a shared calendar to coordinate schedules and avoid conflicts. Plan ahead for important events, anniversaries, and family gatherings to ensure both partners are on the same page and feel valued. W - Work Together "Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much." - Helen Keller Collaborate on projects, big or small, to achieve common goals and deepen your connection. Whether it's tackling a home improvement task or supporting each other in personal endeavors, working together builds trust and creates mutual respect. N - Nurture "A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person." - Mignon McLaughlin Prioritize your relationship by investing time and effort into nurturing it. Communicate openly, express appreciation, and show affection regularly to keep the flame alive and weather any storm that comes your way. Remember, the key to a fulfilling marriage lies in taking proactive steps to address issues before they grow into insurmountable barriers. When you double D.O.W.N., you can transform "later becomes never" into "now becomes always." As I always say, "In marriage, the magic lies in the moments you create together." - Kristianne Wargo "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #RelationshipBuilders #CreateYourNow #LoveAndMarriage 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women?
