Boh, non mi intendo di musica, soprattutto non di questa musica, è sicuramente musica che a me non piace, con un sacco di fisarmoniche.

Sì, la cosa che mi affascina è che sono tutti tirati a lucido, sia il pubblico, molto anziano, che le persone che cantano. E la tipologia delle persone che cantano è interessante, ci sono delle donne, spesso c'è una donna che è presente, una signora di una certa età, probabilmente 60 anni, però tirata molto a lucido, che mi ricorda moltissimo le signore dei club italiani che vedevo quando abitavo in Australia.

Mi capitava di incrociare le signore dei club che si tiravano tutte a lucido, queste matrone con questi vestiti, coi veli con le mani ingioiellate, insomma che facevano la loro bella figura.

E ci sono anche dei signori, pochi signori di una certa età. E ci sono invece molti giovani uomini che spesso suonano, sì, sono sempre addetti alla strumentazione e alcuni di questi anche cantano.

La cosa divertente è che in questo programma, dove ci sono queste persone che cantano, i cantanti si sbracciano per dimostrare con gesti il significato delle loro canzoni. Quindi ogni volta che dicono 'ti mando un bacio', fanno il gesto con la mano di mandare il bacio. Quando parlano di un bel panorama, fanno un ampio gesto col braccio, come a vedere, a mostrare il panorama. Quando dicono 'ti do qualsiasi cosa' danno proprio con la mano. Sembra che facciano delle pantomime, e io non lo so perché lo facciano, perché è buffo, quasi sembra che non credano che il pubblico sia in grado di capire il testo, profondissimo, della loro canzone, a meno che non facciano questi ampi gesti recitativi.
