This episode is being recorded Memorial Day weekend 2024. Memorial Day is sometimes thought of as the kick off to the summer months, and it is – however more importantly it is to honor those that made the ultimate sacrifice and gave their lives in defense of our country. The fallen heroes who never made it home.
2nd Lt. Earl Leonard Urban served in the 701st Tank Destroyer Battalion. He was just 27 years old when he lost his life on the battlefields of Northern Italy.
