Overall demand for electricity by BTU customers during coronavirus is better than expected.
General Manager Gary Miller, during a March 27 interview, says a decrease in consumption by business customers is being made up residential customers staying at home.
Miller also says BTU's finances are generally in very good shape.
BTU, as well as College Station Utilities, continues to suspend disconnects due to non payment until shelter in place orders are lifted.
