The Bryan city council is tentatively scheduled to take final action on April ninth on the city's planning and zoning commission unanimous recommendation to ban future placement of manufactured homes on individual lots.

One exception to the ban applies to current owners of an estimated six hundred vacant lots.

And existing manufactured homes can stay in place for as long as they meet city code.

A special P and Z meeting generated about 90 minutes of comments from 25 opponents and around 40 minutes from P and Z members.
