Richard Fale missed out on buying the Warriors this week but says money wasn't the issue.
Fale says they had more than triple the amount of money than what was being asked to purchase the Auckland based rugby league club.
"Without them being able to demonstrate the things we were looking for certainty on, we knew that we wouldn't be abler to push the deal forward."
"Finances weren't the problem, we just needed to make sure a lawyer wasn't going to come knocking on our door a week after we purchased the team saying that the court had awarded the team to some other person."
