After a few months break we return to The Australian Poker Mindset with one of Australia's hottest players right now, Yita Choong.
Yita has consistently been making final tables and making life tough for us other competitors over the past few years but in the last month alone he has scooped two major results that has certainly caught our attention. Yita finished 4th in the Millionaire Maker at the WSOP in Vegas for $395k USD then returned to Sydney and finished and impressive 2nd in the Sydney Champs for a further $270k AUD. What an impressive two performances and what a privilege to have him on the podcast to share parts of his journey and mindset.
Join us for the discussion to hear more about Yita's experiences on the main stage and some insight to the behind the scenes as to what processes he has in play to ensure he is bringing his A-game to each event. Interestingly, his background in chess has been an advantage with how to overcome losses and focus on personal development rather than, in poker, blaming things like bad luck.
Enjoy!
