I just discovered this podcast and was so pleased to hear Doctor McCarthy speak. I am a veteran rated at 100% permanent and total disabled with PTSD. In 2011 I was admitted into the Connecticut VA PTSD Residential Rehabilitation Program. I had the great fortune there to be put under Doctor McCarthy's care for a few months and go through the CBT-I. It was a life changer. I have subsequently gone through some refreshers and research studies for sleep. Although I still suffer from nightmares, my overall quality of sleep gas improved thanks to Doctor McCarthy's brilliant endeavors. I am indebted to her and a strong advocate of her work.
