Do you give your clients great results, but aren’t always sure how to express that to potential clients? A customer case study may be your answer!

In this episode, I speak with Katie Corbett, a writer who focuses on customer case studies! Back in 2014, Katie wrote her first case study and fell in love.

Katie Corbett works with business owners and marketing professionals so they can tell the success stories of their happy customers. She does this through writing customer case studies, gathering impactful testimonials, and collecting effective reviews. Katie has written for coaches of all types, technology companies, website developers, and graphic designers.

If you have been wondering if you should have a case study, this episode should help you find some clarity. We also talk about how to use a case study, because having one is one thing, but using it effectively is another!

We talk about how Katie came to learn her voice and writing style. A big pivoting point for her was when she found her niche and stopped taking work just for work - she only took on work that she loved.

Katie is totally blind, but that does not stop her from starting her own business and giving her clients amazing results. When she talks about herself and her business, she does not make this a part of her marketing!

While her business can be affected by her disability, she found a way to assemble a team around her for support.

In this episode:
- How Katie finds her clients
- What is a customer case study
- How to find your ideal writing style
- How Katie assembled a team for support

Action steps:
1. Pick up a story of someone who inspires you, and consume that.
2. Make a list of all the potential business ideas you have.
3. Pick the next thing you would need to do to make your dreams come true.
