The buds break down some modern day marvels in this episode including the following:
1: Sascayhuman
A large retaining wall like thing ‘built’ by the Incas in 1438-1471 CE (common era). The rocks weighed up to 360 tons each (720,000 lbs) and were transported over 20 miles before they were set into place like a fucking tetris puzzle
History as we know it: 20,000 workers, rotation with 6k in quarry and 4k in the trenches. Used rope and lever system to transport
Theory: Aliens used ships to transport heavy rocks
Location: Peru
2: Nasca Lines
Called Geoglyphs, they are etchings into the rust colored rocks, creating a white etching of animals. There are over 800 lines, 300 geometric shapes and 70 animal figures including a spider, monkey, hummingbird and what appears to look like an alien figure. The longest run of straight lines run for miles and the biggest shapes are around 1200 feet across. These were constructed between 500BCE and 500CE, but the kicker is, the shapes are best seen from an airplane.
Why: They originally thought that it was to be aligned with the constellations and the stars, but now believed to be in relation to ceremonial and ritual sites for water and fertility.
Theory: Aliens are artists to you prick
Location: Peru
3: Easter Island
Easter Island is a large fleet of human stone figures, 900 to be exact. Average 13’ tall and weigh about 14 tons each. Not super interesting outside of the fact that they were huge and weighed a ton
4: Stonehenge
Huge circle of stones that weigh up to as much as 50ton hundreds of miles away from the area they were quarried in. It was built around 2900 BC, and the civilization has left behind nothing to let us know how they were built or transported. Moving them would have been a bitch, even if the wheel had been invented at that point, which it wasn’t.
History as we know it: They likely used logs to roll them, but this isn’t proven
Theory: Aliens! One theory is that they built it as a landing pad of sorts!
5: Face on Mars
In 1976, the Viking 1 sent pictures back to home base from mars. Amongst those pictures was a rock that appears to be a human face. Nasa originally said that the image was just an effect of shadows on a hill, but the general public didn’t buy that.
Theory: It was the remnants of an ancient martian civilization
6: Pyramids:
Probably the most famous alien building conspiracy. The pyramids are an absolute marvel and were built over 4,500 years ago. Now these are just the Egyptian pyramids, they are in much better shape than pyramids in other locations built centuries later. There are 3 pyramids in total, 2 almost the exact same size and one that is smaller. Each has millions of precisely chiseled and weighed at least 2 tons each. Not only was it built to damn near perfection, but also built extremely fast.
