Alrighty folks, time to get you up to speed on the weather!

Today in Atlanta, Georgia it's looking like a toasty day with plenty of sunshine and a high near 93 degrees. Don't forget to slap on that sunscreen! The wind will be coming from the north at around 5 miles per hour.

As we move into tonight, expect clear skies with a low around 71 degrees. The northwest wind will be around 5 miles per hour, becoming calm later in the evening.

Looking ahead to Friday, the sun is still shining bright with a high near 96 degrees. A light northeast wind of about 5 miles per hour will be blowing through.

And for all you weekend warriors out there, Saturday is set to be a scorcher with temperatures reaching up to 97 degrees under sunny skies. The wind will start calm but will pick up to around 5 miles per hour from the northwest.

As we wrap up the weekend on Sunday, there's a slight 20 percent chance of some showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. The high will be near 98 degrees, so stay cool and hydrated!
