Good day, folks! Time for a quick lowdown on your local weather in Oklahoma City. Here's the scoop straight from the National Weather Service.

Today, you can expect partly sunny skies with a high near 88 degrees. The wind will be coming in from the southeast at 5 to 7 miles per hour. Tonight, things will turn mostly cloudy with a low around 74, and a slightly stronger southeast wind at 6 to 8 miles per hour.

Looking ahead to Friday, it's shaping up to be mostly sunny with a high near 92. The south wind will pick up a bit to 6 to 9 miles per hour. As we head into the weekend, get ready for a toasty Saturday with sunshine and a high near 96. You might feel some gusts as high as 20 miles per hour with a south southwest wind at 8 to 13 miles per hour.

The heat continues on Sunday with a high near 101, and it stays hot into the beginning of next week. Monday brings us a high of 100 degrees, and Tuesday pushes up to 102 degrees. Keep an eye out for a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday night and Wednesday.
