Good day, folks! It's time for your fun weather update brought to you by the National Weather Service.
Let's talk New York, New York. Overnight, we're looking at a 20 percent chance of showers with areas of dense fog. Expect cloudy skies with temperatures dipping to around 66°F and a southeast wind at about 10 miles per hour.
Moving on to Memorial Day, showers are likely, especially after 4pm, with more fog lingering until late morning. It'll be cloudy with a steady temperature near 67°F and a southeast wind blowing at 9 to 16 miles per hour. There's a 60% chance of precipitation with new amounts between a quarter and a half of an inch possible.
As we cruise into the nighttime, showers and even a thunderstorm might roll through before midnight, followed by a chance of showers. Temperatures could rise to about 70°F by 10pm. Keep your umbrella close as the chance of precipitation stands at 80%.
But wait, there's sunshine ahead! Tuesday brings clear skies and a high near 78°F, thanks to a west wind blowing at 9 to 13 miles per hour.
