While Seoul's Noryangjin fish market is one of the top fish markets in the entire world, the stories making the news in South Korea & abroad have lately focused on the ongoing battle between the company that owns the market & fish sellers who have been operating businesses there for decades. Writer Dave Hazzan chronicled the struggle going on between the two sides for online publisher Zester Daily, & last summer, Korea FM’s Chance Dorland spoke with him to learn more about what Hazzan describes as a battle that will "determine the fate of one of the city’s most iconic food markets.”
